The Site

Lidl has traded from its current foodstore on the High Street since 1995. As Lidl’s store requirements have modernised over the years, we have looked at options for refitting the store. Unfortunately, this has not proved possible, with a particular focus on the car park size which we cannot increase.
The new proposed Lidl store site is located off Radstock Road and is a former garage showroom. It has been unoccupied since 2024 and can accommodate our latest store format and larger car park.
The site benefits from strong access for residents in Midsomer Norton and also nearby Radstock.
